Transparency

We often find ourselves in a recurring pattern. Many organisations propose solutions to the urgent challenges we collectively face. Yet, once these solutions are implemented, it becomes evident that these companies prioritize profit over genuine positive change. This frequent pattern has led us to question the reliability of traditional corporations in upholding their promises.

The Transparent Company (T Corp) seeks to redefine this narrative. Instead of merely asking for trust, we aim to move past it. Our approach involves sharing non-editable transactional data from the outset, enhancing how people trust us whilst offering a bounty to whoever can spot a deviation from our founding tenets.

While we are committed to the highest level of openness, we also respect and uphold privacy laws, ensuring that protected information remains confidential. We do this by employing a tiering system of confidential information. For instance:

  • Tier 3 is our default tier, this is where 80% of our data lies and where all information is fully open to the public.
  • Tier 2 has a slight opacity to protect direct personal information like first name, surname and email addresses.
  • Tier 1 is our least used tier, it is where confidentiality is essential, and this includes all medical records.

At whichever Tier, there is associated metadata such as where the data is from and its frequency of transmission, which ultimately means T-Corp cannot hide information and cannot greenwash.
