Description
A limited print run of three copies.
Psychonautics, by Voytek Bereza, published by The Transparent Company, traces the fracture of our shared reality. It shows how psychedelics, by inducing Pivotal Mental States, can help rebuild it.
The printing press once bound us to a common world. The internet has splintered it into private ones. We no longer disagree within one reality; we inhabit different ones. Humans are bound by their stories, their culture. But what can bind us in a splintered world?
A journey through the overground and underground of psychedelics, cutting through a society drowning in noise, in search of what we were made for.

I purchased your book, Psychonautics, last month after stumbling across your website. I have followed the Australian Psychedelic Society for sometime in hopes there would be an event in my local area (Canberra) where I could engage with the community. Apologies for the long email.
I wanted to reach out to thank you for the work you have put out into the world. I sincerely enjoyed your book and found it to be very thought provoking, linking a lot of ideas I have had myself but not necessarily brought together. I enjoyed the integration of predictive processing into the conversation. I appreciated the insights you provide on the importance of behaviours and intention outside of the experience itself and found the framework you provide beneficial to support my own insights. I detest the commercialisation of spaces intended to help vulnerable members of our world and thought you provided clear insights into what to look out for to protect this space.
For context, I am also a health professional and have a passion for helping individuals with chronic pain to find meaning and control in their life. I have also had my own experiences with persistent pain and psychological disturbance and have seen the profound power of our predictions to shape our experience and objective reality. I have found conscious work supported by psychoplastogens profoundly helpful in my journey toward openness and self-actualisation and support many individuals whose lives would similarly be changed by the breaking of ingrained patterns of thought and behaviour.
I have shared your book with my partner, similarly interested in this space and helping individuals to navigate their experiences. We are both excited to attend the Psychedelic Supper Club in Canberra next month and we would love to hear more about your work or how we can be involved in the community.

I just wanted to say thanks for the copy of your book, but also thanks for writing it in the first place. I devoured it this morning. Profound and insightful, but also a salve to my loneliness to know there are other people – and not just strangers on the internet, but real people in my city – asking these important questions. Also my first time seeing ‘aphantasia’ in the wild since discovering it about myself in the last few years! I really hope the landscape changes soon to allow you to publish it safely.
